So here is my redesign of Vampirella. It took me longer than I wanted to spend on it. Dealing with the background was probably my biggest issue. I also tried various designs and this one appealed to me the most. Feel free to leave crits because I need them.

Vampirella Sketch - Rick

I've been behind due to work and unfortunately missed the submission for the Vampirella redesign contest. I thought it would still be cool to show the sketch that I am using for the final version. I am making some small anatomy changes digitally and I hope to finish it this week. The reason for the missing calves in the sketch is that I plan to add some foreground elements that are going to cover that area.

I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted so it was all just working out the pose. Then the usual inking in photoshop as well as color. I was inspirited by the old 60's Sci-Fi movies.
