1800's Sketch VMN

Here is my first stab at a deep sea diver from the 1800's.

I want to push myself to try a new style.

just some sketches... brainstorming an idea...
coal miner. i like to just doodle until i find stuff i like...

i wasnt sure if the assignment was to make a steampunk version of 1700-1800's blue collar worker or just a historically accurate one. i went with a more steampunk look on the miner.. i gave him lederhosen, breeches and some pipes and stuff... the drill is modeled after a panzerschreck
